Remembrance Day Service 2020

Earlier this morning we held a Remembrance Day Service. KS2 all took part in a very socially distanced manner around the Memorial Area of the school and we welcomed our wonderful Rabbi Kleiman to lead the service for us. Early Years and KS1 held a 2 minute silence in their own classrooms.
Together we all thought about the Service men and Women who lost their lives during the World Wars and beyond, and about how thankful we are for the lives that we can live freely today. We were able to come together safely to mark this moment and what a truly memorable moment it was. We found a way; together We Will Remember Them.
Mrs Baxter did the honour of laying the Poppy Wreath on behalf of our school and we are really proud of her. All of our children showed remarkable maturity and respect and we are all so proud of them. Pictures are on Facebook.
Thank you all for your generous donations this morning; it was lovely to see the children giving tzedakah. The buckets will be there again at hometime for those who forgot.
Thank you
Mrs Bhogal

So proud of you all for this wonderful tribute and for asking Simone to lay the wreath. So emotional for her and me in these painful months after John’s passing. He was a leader of the community and a strong supporter of the school and all it represents.
