Teacher Training

At Brodetsky we support the development of students becoming qualified teachers. We work closely with Leeds Becket University, are part of the Springboard Cluster of schools in Leeds and run our own Teacher Training Programme as part of The Northern Jewish School Direct Primary Cluster accredited by the London School of Jewish Studies.

Springboard

Brodetsky are a part of a diverse cluster of schools who work with Leeds Beckett University to train new teachers under the Schools Direct Programme.

Brodetsky has successfully trained many trainees and prepared them for the teaching profession, some of whom we have gone on to employ.

Led by us on behalf of The Northern Jewish School Direct Primary Cluster and is accredited by the London School of Jewish Studies.

Is School Direct the Route into Teaching for you?

The School Direct route gives you the chance to learn ‘on the job’ in a school and you will work as part of the teaching team from day one –  learning from experienced, practising colleagues and immediately putting your new skills into practice.

This option is perfect if you are either already working in a school without QTS (e.g. Teaching Assistants), if you are a university graduate or a career changer looking to get into teaching by ‘learning on the job’.

Why Choose Us?

We work with LSJS, an Outstanding provider of Teacher Training who was awarded ‘Outstanding in All Areas’ in November 2018. You can read the latest Ofsted report here.

The School Direct programme has a near-100% employment record giving you the best start to your career in teaching.

You will learn in a small, nurturing community with personalised support and mentoring.

You will have the opportunity to train in high-performing schools.
