Nursery in the Forest
We all went into the woodland to meet Onion – the woodland elf. Onion was very sad because he was going to a party and he was a bit smelly! He wondered if the children could help him somehow. The children decided to make him some perfume using natural materials found in the woodland. In small bottles the children used grass, leaves and small flowers mixed with water to make perfume for Onion. He loved the perfume and put it behind his ears and on his clothes and went off to his party! We also made toast on the fire which the children enjoyed with jam – yummy!
