Netball Winners
The Brodetsky Year 5 and 6 team took part in the Leeds North East competion Hi 5 Netball Competition at Carr Manor High School. Our first group match was against Alwoodley which we won quite convincingly. Our next match was against Wigton Moor which was closer and we showed great determination as we wanted to go through to the next round which was the semi finals. It was close but we were the eventual winners. We faced a very tall Chapel Allerton team in the semi finals but our play was outstanding with strong attacking moves and shooting as well as superb defensive work. The final score of that match was 5-1 to Brodetsky. In the final we played Highfield. This was our toughest match but accurate passing and a tight defence served us well and we won the final 2-1.
Brodetsky will now go through to the Leeds finals at Beckett Park on the 11th June.
