You may have heard of the recent reports in the media regarding the game Fortnite.

I am aware that many of our Primary school children are playing this game though it is targeted at age 12 and above.

I would urge you to be mindful and strongly monitor your child’s use due to the reported addictive nature of the game and subsequent psychological effects on learning and impact on daily routines.

There have been some recent behavioural incidents in school which the staff feel that prolonged engagement with Fortnite/gaming in general may have contributed to.

There have been some very tired boys in school, we are monitoring but if you feel you would like to come and speak to us, please feel free.
