Celebrating Prince Harry & Meghan’s Wedding!
This week in school has been extremely exciting with the up coming wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan. The children have done lots of work on the royal family and their role in the UK.
All children from Nursery 1 through to Year 6 have carefully written an individual card or letter to the new couple which have been sent in the post this afternoon hopefully to arrive in time for them to read them on their honey moon! The children are all aware that they may not get a response from the couple but are excited non the less.
To get even more in to the celebratory mood, children were invited to come to school wearing red, white and blue accessories or anything patriotic! The children look unbelievable and there was real excitement in the air.
At the end of Kabalat Shabbat the whole school, lead by Year 1 who have recently learnt it, sang the National Anthem ‘God Save the Queen’.
At one point… I’m sure Prince Harry and Meghan were in school to celebrate with us! See if you can spot them in the pictures.
