There was an extra special atmosphere around school yesterday with all classes enjoying every moment of the England match. The Lions winning was the icing on the cake as seeing all the children’s camaraderie and feeling their excitement was simply nothing short of infectious. Using the attached PowerPoint, during and after the match, teachers taught the children more about Qatar. They looked at their national flag, anthem, language, religion, clothing, currency and dish. For children in Key Stage 2, we also introduced the children to some of the laws that differ to those in the UK, highlighting how lucky we are to live in a society that is governed by less restrictions than those in Qatar.
