Year 5 Taster session at LJFS

Year 5 have had a fantastic afternoon in LJFS today sampling some of the wonderful things that high school has to offer. We investigated reactive metals and also made bubble fire balls using gasses. They made ‘squeaky pops’ out of hydrochloric acid and magnesium and they even got to set Mrs Biggs on fire. The children loved it and Mrs Biggs has gone home with slightly smaller eyebrows. Everyone really enjoyed their morning session with Mr Semmons.
