The Big Bang Fair
We were very fortunate to be able to take a group of Year 4 children to visit The Big Bang Fair at Doncaster Racecourse on Tuesday. This was the largest one-day STEM event in the Yorkshire region and was a fantastic day of exciting, interactive activities to enthuse and inspire our students to take up careers in science. The Fair included a wide range of activities from interactive shows to over 60 activities where students can get hands-on with the engineering or meet some cute and not-so-cute animals.
This is a joint visit between Allerton High School, Brodetsky Primary School, Alwoodley Primary School, Allerton CE Primary School and, as part of our STEM Partnership. This is a nationally funded initiative to support student progress in Science.
