NSPCC Number Day!
All the children were invited to come to school in tops that had numbers on in support of NSPCC’s fantastic work. We have managed to raise a lot of money for the charity and hope to reveal the exact amount once it has all been counted up!
During Kabbalat Shabbat we learnt how to count to 10 in different languages (French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish & Hebrew)!
Nursery 2: We all participated in lots of maths inspired activities which included counting actions, counting our bulbs, finding our favourite numbers and dancing to some number songs.
Reception: We had lots of fun with a variety of different Maths activities. We even got to eat Cheerios as part of milk and fruit, although first we had to count them out!
Y2MB: We were measuring in centimetres and recording the lengths of body parts on a sheet.
Year 3: In our class today we used x-tables to find the hidden pictures and played ‘Who wants to be a Mathionnaire’!
Year 3/4: We played ‘Who wants to be a Mathionnaire’ as well as other fun mathematical games!
“Many thanks to all who contributed towards NSPCC last Friday for number day. We managed to raise £230.83!!”
