On Monday 11th March Brodetsky took a Year 6 gymnastics team to the John Charles Centre for Sport to compete in the Key Steps 3 advanced level competition. This was the first time our school had entered this event and we were one of nine schools to take part within the whole of the Leeds District.

There were 3 disciplines in which we had to perform. They were 2 vaults, a floor routine and a body management routine.

The five girls had done a lot of training in the their own personal time out of school hours along with some lunchtime practices. The girls should be thoroughly proud of all their performances and work as a team and there were only a matter of two points between the Brodetsky team and the third place team. An excellent effort and well done to the Year 6 girls and a huge thank you for the parent’s support.
