Year 5/6 girls come close to glory yet still leave undefeated.

On a rainy day in Leeds the year 5/6 girls’ team lit up the pitches with some incredible performances. Over 6 games they were unbeaten, and although they dominated most matches a lack of goals held them back from glory.

All 8 players were fantastic throughout and in the initial group stage drew all 3 games all of which they could have easily won and were the better team.

In the second round of fixtures, they won one and drew a further two with a heroic last minute save from the GSAL goalkeeper denying them top spot in the Premier League.

All involved gave a great account of themselves and did The Brodetsky proud.
