Come and Try Tennis

Twenty children from Year 1 and Year 2 took part in a ‘Come and Try’ tennis event at Chapel Allerton Tennis Club. The children played a few warm-up games with the ball and racquet to familiarise themselves with the equipment and then went on to learn a few strokes, the forehand, backhand and volley. The children had lots of fun, practised new skills and showed great improvement learning alongside the coaches.
