Come and Try Netball

On Thursday 28th March Brodetsky took 2 teams to Carr Manor school to play in a ‘Come and Try Netball’ event. We took mixed teams of year 5 and 6 pupils who have all been training in our netball club and practises. We did amazingly well with our B team undefeated in all 3 matches. Our A team won their first match 6 – 0 against Richmond Hill, lost 2 – 0 to Wigton Moor and won 5 – 1 St Matthew’s. Both teams showed impressive attacking play, as well as accurate shooting. Opposition found it difficult to score due to our very tight defensive play, especially our defensive third.
