On Thursday afternoon 18 Year 5 pupils went on a cricket coaching fun afternoon. This was organised by Leeds School Games and was held at Old Leos Cricket Club.

There were coaches from Yorkshire County Cricket Association who played fun games as well as developed the children’s skills in throwing, catching, batting as well as the rules of the game. We even got an opportunity to play a mini (socially distanced) match against Manor Wood School.

It was great fun and all of the children really enjoyed the coaching games and matches.
