Year 5 & 6 Tag Rugby

Brodetsky took a mixed Year 5 and 6 tag rugby squad to the Leeds City Tournament at Crawshaw Accademy. It was our first ever tournament and we were able to show all the skills practised at school with determined attacking play as well as tactical defence.

We progressed through our group stage to the quarter finals. There we beat Cobden by a golden try at the end. The semi final was against Shadwell A who knocked us out but they were the eventual tournament winners.

Our overall placing was 3rd out of 12 teams which is a fantastic achievement. Well done to all the girls.
