Seaside Comes to KS1

On Monday KS1 had a superb seaside themed day. In the morning we learnt lots of new facts about the seaside in the past, enjoyed a Punch and Judy show and looked at the inside of a puppet theatre and how the show is performed. During the afternoon we cut out and assembled a donkey, played with Punch and Judy puppets and did observational drawings of them, watched Mr Wood make a miniature puppet theatre which we will try out in class and made sandcastles on our home made beach. It was an action packed day and finally to finish we enjoyed eating ice lollies to cool us down after such a scorching hot day. Phew!
