End to the half term!
What an end to this half term! The children were so cooperative and well behaved despite being cold and wet. The staff were also very well behaved!
We were able to evacuate the school building quickly and calmly when the alarm went off during lunchtime. This meant we had to leave our fish fingers and chips and packed lunches behind and make a swift exit to the designated safe areas outside. We were outside for 45 minutes before the EYFS building was approved as being safe for us to return to. At this point we guided each class into the EYFS building one at a time. Once the main building was approved for re-entry from the fire brigade (thank you so much to Lucia’s Dad for bringing his friends and their big red fire engine to check our school was safe) we lead each of the classes back to their classrooms.
Any children who hadn’t managed to eat their lunch were provided with fish and chips cups served by Mr. Barton and Mr. Y.
Again, a very memorable moment in true Brodetsky style.
Thank you for your cooperation when collecting the children.
Have a lovely half term,
Mrs Bhogal and the Brodetsky Team
