Easter Assembly

This Morning Mrs Lawson spoke to the children about Easter and explained to them the Easter story and the background as to why Christians celebrate Easter. Mrs Lawson then went on to tell the children what she does over the Easter weekend which included going to Church, eating Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns. The children learnt about the connection between Easter Eggs and the story behind Easter too.

One of our children, who is Christian, explained to the school about his family traditions around Easter time and how they celebrate by going on an Easter Egg hunt.

At the end of the assembly the children had the opportunity to ask Mrs Lawson about Easter.
