Act of Remembrance

Whilst Early Years and Years 1 to 3 held a moments silence in their respective classrooms following a lesson on Remembrance Sunday, Years 4 to 6 joined with LJFS out at the flag poles for a moving ceremony which included; readings, poetry, lowering of the flags, laying of the wreaths and solemn renditions of both the British and Israeli National Anthems; G-d save the King and Hatikvah.

As 11:00am struck our whole campus fell silent whilst we remembered those who fought in order to allow us to live free lives today.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.
