30 Days Wild
For the month of June Year One have taken on The Wildlife Trusts ’30 Days Wild’ challenge. This involves them carrying out 30 different challenges which will get them outside, enjoying the summer weather and exploring the nature around them.
Today in the forest school we completed 8 of the 30 challenges to catch up. We listened to the sounds of the forest, made a nature table, collected flowers, searched for wildlife, went on a creepy crawly hunt, found moss, read a book outside and made our own ‘Wild Mobiles’.
We are really excited to complete more challenges with the class over the next few weeks. For those children who successfully complete all 30 of the challenges (in school and at home) there will be a certificate and a WILD prize.
