Voluntary Contributions

The Governors would like to thank all those parents and carers who have made voluntary contributions this year. There are, however, a considerable number of families who do not support the school.

Brodetsky is a Voluntary Aided School. Having chosen to send your child to Brodetsky, you will expect the school to provide the very best for them. The funds received through contributions are used to ensure a wide range of support is available both culturally and educationally. The school uses this support not only for children who need extra help, but to ensure those who are doing well can be stretched to achieve their best in Jewish and secular education. The money has been used to ensure Teaching support as well as an increased diversity in the curriculum.

The school’s dependency on contributions is increasingly important, as state funding is reduced and we really need your help to ensure all our children get the most out of their primary school experience. The money you decide to give will help us ensure the fully rounded education and wonderful support will continue to be provided.

Thank you for taking your responsibility seriously and deciding to support the valuable work undertaken by the school.

Contributions can be Gift Aided, so the school gets more money.

If you would like to discuss contributions, then please contact Manjit in the office.

Many Thanks

Security Support Request

I would like to say a big thank you to the small number of parents who have offered their time to volunteer for a security rota at the gates at drop off and pick up every day. Due to the limited support we are not able to currently set up a rota and we appeal for more families to support us with this. We are aware that other schools have made this a compulsory requirement for parents and every family is expected to do at least one duty a year. Though we are not suggesting this, it is very important that you support us in keeping our (your) children safe. Please e-mail me or speak to me if you would like to be added to the rota as we would like to start it from Monday 4th September.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Jason Hamilton-Edward

Thank you to everyone who supported the Summer Fair yesterday. It was a huge success and lots of money was raised for the school which is much appreciated by all of the children and staff. We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful PTA, The Link, for all of the time they give to school as without their support we would not be able to add this other layer of resources that benefit our children.

Your feedback is always welcome but without your physical support we cannot do things on a grand scale as we would like to. So along with your feedback if you can offer us your time to run stalls at future events or attend planning meetings, please contact our Chair, Emma Wisnia. Shabbat shalom.

If you do not notify us by the end of term we will assume your child is remaining on school meals and you will be charged for the meals that have been ordered.
