Parentmail Tuesday

Parentmail Tuesday 25th July 2017 From Mrs Bowman and Mr Millen

Dear Parents

The year 6 leavers assembly is tomorrow morning at 9am

Guests MUST bring their tickets with them, you will not be allowed entry without them.

As you were previously told each child can have 2 guests only at the assembly.

This is something we have to enforce due to it being a full school assembly. We have a particularly large year group and health and safety will not allow for any more people in the hall therefore please do not put us in a position where we have to turn people away.

We look forward to seeing you there when we send your children off in style!

Many thanks

From Campus Admin for Year 2’s going into Year 3

Please remember to let the office know if you’d like your child to go onto packed lunches from September. Please email naomi.levy@ljfs.org

If you do not notify us by TOMORROW we will assume your child is remaining on school meals and you will be charged for the meals that have been ordered.

From Mrs. Simons

Just for your information, more details will follow in September:

As you will be aware part of the Year 4 PE curriculum includes swimming lessons at Holt Park Leisure Centre. They will be travelling on a coach to and from the pool.

These lessons will take place as part of the normal school day. This year the children will be going swimming in two groups. The first group will swim for the first term and the second group will swim for the second term. The third term will be split with one group going in each half term. If your child is not swimming they will be having a PE lesson in school with the TSC coaches.

Your child will need to bring in their swimming kit every Wednesday morning; this will need to consist of a one piece swimming costume for girls and swimming trunks for boys, goggles if they usually wear them and a towel. This should be kept together in a large, separate, named bag to their usual school bag. Any child with long hair must have it tied up.
